OMV Petrom reported a net profit of 1.802 billion lei for the first half of 2026. This figure represents a 14% decrease compared to the same period last year. Second-quarter clean CCS net income reached 1.13 billion lei. This result fell slightly below the analyst expectation of 1.18 billion lei.

Lower commodity prices and market regulations for natural gas and electricity drove the profit decline. However, sales revenue increased by 25% during the first six months. Total revenue reached 21.314 billion lei for the period.

The company allocated 9 billion lei for 2026 investments to enhance domestic energy production. A significant portion of this capital targets the Neptun Deep offshore natural gas project. Analysts do not expect these financial results to significantly impact the company's stock outlook.
