Toyota’s global sales fell 1.1% year-over-year in June. Total volume reached 926,688 units for the month. This marks the fifth consecutive month of declining volume for the automaker.

A 27% sales drop in China and supply disruptions in the Middle East drove the downturn. These losses offset growth in the North American and Japanese markets.

Toyota lowered its annual operating profit forecast to ¥3 trillion. This figure equals approximately $18.4 billion. The new forecast is down from the previous year’s ¥3.8 trillion.

The company also announced organizational structural changes. Additionally, Toyota launched a new LEXUS Flight helicopter service.
