Chinese manufacturers accounted for over 97% of the 19,100 humanoid robots shipped globally in the first half of 2026. Data from research firm Smart Analytics Global shows shipments tripled from 5,100 units in the same period last year.

Shanghai-based Agibot led the market with 8,400 units shipped. Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics followed with 5,900 units. These volumes significantly exceeded those of U.S. competitors including Tesla, Figure AI, and Agility Robotics.

Industrial and commercial applications now drive over 70% of total shipments. This sector share rose from approximately 50% in 2025. Analysts project total global shipments will reach 60,000 units by the end of 2026.
