Samsung Electronics will begin mass-producing Tesla chips at its Texas facility in the second half of 2027.

Samsung Foundry President Han Jin-man announced the production timeline during an annual shareholders' meeting in Seoul on Wednesday.

The hardware will power Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology and Optimus humanoid robot.

These advanced components provide the immense computing power required for next-generation autonomous systems.

The agreement advances Tesla’s vertical integration strategy to prevent future supply chain bottlenecks.
