Tesla has issued two separate recalls for its vehicle lineup.

The first recall affects 173 Cybertrucks. This action covers vehicles from model years 2024 through 2026. A defect allows wheel studs to separate from the hub, which increases crash risks. Tesla will replace front and rear brake rotors, hubs, and lug nuts at no cost to owners.

A second recall impacts more than 200,000 Model Y, S, X, and 3 vehicles. A software glitch in these models can cause the rearview camera to fail for a short time. Tesla reports no known accidents, injuries, or fatalities related to either recall issue.

Separately, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the 2026 Tesla Model Y passed new safety tests. It is the first vehicle to pass the agency's more rigorous Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems evaluation. The new tests measure performance in pedestrian automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance.
