Tesla recorded its first year-over-year monthly sales increase in Europe after more than a year of declines. New-car registrations rose nearly 12% in February. Total volume reached 17,664 units across the European Union, the U.K., and neighboring countries. The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association reported the data.
Tesla sales in the European Union alone climbed 29% compared to the previous year. The company achieved this growth while defending market share against rivals like China’s BYD. Tesla’s performance outpaced the more modest gains seen in the broader European car market.
