Tesla filed a federal lawsuit against Angstrom Automotive Group to retrieve essential Cybertruck production tooling. The company is seeking emergency court intervention at a closing manufacturing plant in Troy, Texas.

Tesla alleges the supplier is holding production of thousands of customer-ordered Cybertrucks hostage. Angstrom reportedly refused to ship 700 finished parts.

The supplier demanded an additional $250,000 per week to maintain operations beyond existing obligations. Tesla attempted to retrieve its equipment with law enforcement on July 21 but was unsuccessful.
