Tesla will increase production capacity at its Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg by 20%.

The company targets a weekly output of 7,500 vehicles. This expansion responds to strengthening demand for the Model Y in Europe.

The production ramp-up is scheduled to begin in October 2026. Tesla intends to hire 1,000 additional employees for production roles to support the volume.

This move follows a rebound in European sales after a slower 2025. The investment also includes plans to increase battery cell production at the German facility.
