Tesla revealed a production-ready Cybercab robotaxi featuring a factory-integrated Starlink satellite antenna. The company shared images of the roof-mounted hardware on its Robotaxi X account on August 10. This seamless integration replaces the external dishes used on earlier prototypes.
Starlink provides high-bandwidth connectivity for fleet management, navigation, and customer service. The satellite link ensures vehicle operation in areas with poor cellular coverage.
CEO Elon Musk stated on X that all future Tesla models will include Starlink hardware. This strategy supports the company's long-term AI and data processing requirements across its entire vehicle lineup.
