Uber and Block, Inc. are expanding their global partnership to integrate new payment and operational tools. Square’s native integration with Uber Eats will launch in Canada, Australia, the U.K., Ireland, France, and Spain. This expansion provides international restaurants with streamlined operational capabilities.
Uber will also introduce Cash App Pay as a payment option for Uber and Uber Eats customers in the United States. This integration grants Uber access to Cash App’s large Millennial and Gen Z user base.
The announcement builds on the existing integration of Block’s Afterpay service with Uber in Australia.
