Uber launched Baidu’s fully driverless Apollo Go robotaxi service in Dubai. This move marks a significant international expansion for both companies.

Riders in Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim can now access the service. Users can book via UberX, Uber Comfort, or a dedicated Autonomous option.

This collaboration represents the first deployment under a multi-year partnership. The companies established the first multi-partner autonomous network.

The service uses Baidu’s sixth-generation, fully electric robotaxis. New Horizon Luxury Transport manages the fleet operations.

The launch supports Dubai’s goal to automate 25% of all transportation trips by 2030.
