Pony.ai and Uber are expanding their strategic partnership to deploy more than 2,000 robotaxis across Europe. The collaboration builds on an existing commercial service in Zagreb, Croatia.
The expansion will add four unnamed European cities to the network. The agreement also includes future deployment plans for the Middle East.
Pony.ai provides the Level 4 autonomous driving technology. Uber offers its global mobility platform for booking and payment. Local fleet partners manage daily operations.
