Uber announced that Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah will step down as Chief Financial Officer, effective February 16, 2026. He will be succeeded by Balaji Krishnamurthy, an internal candidate who currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Finance.

Krishnamurthy has been with Uber since 2019, previously serving as Head of Investor Relations. Mahendra-Rajah will remain with the company as a Senior Finance Advisor until July 1, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi credited Mahendra-Rajah with achieving investment-grade status and initiating Uber's first share repurchase program.
