Uber Technologies has agreed to acquire the Turkish delivery portfolio of Getir from its main shareholder, Mubadala Investment Company. The deal is structured in phases, beginning with Uber paying $335 million in cash for Getir's food delivery business, which reportedly generated over $1 billion in gross bookings in 2025.

Additionally, Uber will invest $100 million for a 15% stake in Getir's other operations, including grocery, retail, and water delivery. The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, aims to expand the Uber Eats platform and consolidate the competitive delivery market in Turkey. Uber plans to integrate Getir and its other local delivery service, Trendyol Go, to broaden selection for consumers.
