The Coca-Cola system in South Africa is investing R17.6 billion to enhance beverage supply chain infrastructure. This capital allocation equals approximately US$1 billion.

The investment aims to boost local production capacity and strengthen regional distribution networks. This strategy promotes local economic integration and builds value chain resilience.

The system includes Coca-Cola and its authorized bottlers, Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBA) and Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages. This move follows the 2025 sale of CCBA to Coca-Cola HBC.

Luis Felipe Avellar, President of the Africa Operating Unit, stated the investment reflects a commitment to South African communities.
