The Coca-Cola Company secured an exclusive agreement to become the beverage partner for Marriott International. This deal ends a 34-year relationship between the hotel giant and PepsiCo.

The transition will roll out across Marriott’s global network of over 9,700 hotels. The partnership spans 143 countries.

Coca-Cola will supply all distribution channels, including lobby bars, vending machines, in-room mini-fridges, and event catering. Coca-Cola stated the decision was driven by guest preference for its broader product portfolio. The move increases brand visibility among millions of travelers in the ongoing rivalry with PepsiCo.
