Vedanta Oil and Gas plans to invest approximately $200 million (₹2,000 crore) during 2026-27 to increase crude oil production from its mature Rajasthan fields. The investment will target the Mangla, Bhagyam and Aishwariya fields, aiming to slow natural production declines and improve recovery from existing wells.
Vedanta aims to raise production at the Mangla field to more than 150,000 barrels per day. The field currently produces about 80,000 barrels per day. The company plans to use enhanced oil recovery techniques to reach its target.
The Rajasthan assets accounted for 81% of Vedanta’s total production in the first quarter of the financial year.
