Volkswagen revealed the all-electric ID. Tiguan on October 9, 2026. The SUV will replace the ID.4 and ID.5, combining the two product lines under one of the company’s best-known names as it transitions to electric vehicles. European sales are scheduled to begin in early 2027, with a North American release planned for an unspecified date.

The ID. Tiguan features redesigned exterior styling, upgraded interior materials and a new cockpit with a 15-inch main screen and an optional passenger display. Volkswagen has also restored physical buttons for key controls in response to customer feedback. The SUV will come with multiple powertrain options and offer a WLTP range of up to 600 km.
