Epirus, General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), and Kodiak AI launched the Leonidas Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV) today. This mobile, fully autonomous system is designed for counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) missions.
The platform integrates Epirus’s Leonidas high-power microwave (HPM) technology onto a commercial-grade truck chassis. Kodiak’s artificial intelligence-powered autonomous driving technology enables the vehicle to operate in complex environments.
The Leonidas HPM system disables individual drone threats or entire swarms without targeting limitations. This collaboration provides a new mobile defense solution for critical point protection and homeland security.
