Hitachi partnered with AI research firm Anthropic to integrate advanced models into its Lumada 3.0 business model. The collaboration combines Hitachi’s domain expertise with Anthropic’s technology to accelerate solutions for energy, transportation, and manufacturing.
The initiative focuses on enhancing system engineering, operations, and cybersecurity for industrial clients. Hitachi will leverage the Claude AI model to improve efficiency and quality in system development and operations.
Hitachi will deploy the AI technology across its global workforce of approximately 290,000 employees. The company is also establishing a Frontier AI Deployment Center to co-create new industrial solutions.
