Honeywell signed a supplier framework agreement with the U.S. Department of War to rapidly increase defense technology production.

The company will invest $500 million over several years to expand its manufacturing capacity. This capital will ramp up the production of resilient navigation systems, precise missile actuators, and advanced electronic warfare solutions.

These components serve as the technological backbone for various military platforms, including fighter jets and precision munitions.

The partnership marks a milestone for the Department’s Acquisition Transformation Strategy, which uses stable demand signals to attract private capital to the defense industrial base. Honeywell is among the first Tier 1 suppliers to enter this type of agreement.
