Isar Aerospace will conduct the second qualifying flight of its Spectrum rocket. The launch is scheduled for March 25, 2026, from Andøya Spaceport in Norway.
The mission aims to demonstrate orbital capability for the European Space Agency's (ESA) commercial launcher challenge. Success would establish independent and commercial space access for Europe.
The Spectrum rocket features a two-stage design. It can transport payloads of up to 1,000 kg to low Earth orbit. Aerospace investors are monitoring the event as a key indicator for the commercial space transportation market.
