U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee confirmed Tuesday that Israel deployed Iron Dome anti-missile batteries and military personnel to the United Arab Emirates. The deployment aims to protect the UAE from Iranian missile and drone attacks during a fragile regional ceasefire.

This move marks the first time the Iron Dome system has been operationally active on foreign soil. The deployment strengthens the strategic defense partnership established under the 2020 Abraham Accords.

The Iron Dome’s Tamir interceptor is co-produced by U.S.-based RTX Corporation. This milestone reflects a growing regional demand for advanced, interoperable air defense systems amid shared security concerns.
