RTX Corporation reported adjusted first-quarter 2026 revenue of $22.1 billion. Adjusted earnings per share reached $1.78. Revenue grew 9% year-over-year. Adjusted earnings per share increased 21% over the same period.

The company raised its 2026 sales forecast to between $92.5 billion and $93.5 billion. The Raytheon defense division drove this revision with 9% organic sales growth.

Munitions output surged more than 40% to replenish stockpiles during ongoing global conflicts. Management also noted robust demand for land and air defense systems.

The total company backlog reached a record $271 billion. Defense orders account for $109 billion of that total.
