Zalando SE reported a strong start to 2026 with significant first-quarter growth. Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) rose 21.7% to 4.3 billion euros. Revenue increased 23.8% to 3 billion euros.
Advancements in artificial intelligence and the integration of ABOUT YOU drove these results. The acquisition contributed 10 million euros in synergies during the quarter. Adjusted EBIT climbed 38.7% to 65 million euros, exceeding analyst forecasts. The adjusted EBIT margin reached 2.2%. Zalando’s active customer base hit a record high of 62.3 million.
Management confirmed full-year guidance for 2026 despite a volatile macroeconomic environment. The company projects annual GMV and revenue growth between 12% and 17%. Full-year adjusted EBIT is expected to land between 660 million and 740 million euros.
