TSMC became Taiwan’s most profitable company in 2025, according to a report from credit information firm CRIF.
The chipmaker recorded a net profit of NT$1.72 trillion. Global demand for advanced AI chips from tech giants like Nvidia and AMD drove this performance.
TSMC also secured the top revenue position among Taiwan's 5,000 largest companies for the first time. The company generated NT$3.78 trillion in sales for 2025.
This achievement surpassed Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., which previously held the top spot. The report highlights TSMC's critical role in the expanding artificial intelligence sector.
