Apple has reportedly shelved its immersive video series Adventure for the Vision Pro headset. The decision follows the death of Claire Lomas during a microlight aircraft crash in Jordan in August 2024.
Lomas was a paraplegic athlete and charity fundraiser being filmed for the extreme sports series at the time of the accident. A camera system mounted on the aircraft was actively recording when the crash occurred.
A riding accident paralyzed Lomas in 2007. She later completed the London Marathon using a robotic suit to raise funds for charity.
