Apple is developing its first touch-screen laptops. The company plans to feature this technology in redesigned 14-inch MacBook Pro models. The feature will also appear in redesigned 16-inch MacBook Pro models. Apple plans a late 2026 release.
The new models will feature OLED screen technology. Apple will integrate the Dynamic Island interface to house the camera.
This move reverses Apple's long-standing resistance to touch screens in the Mac lineup. Apple will exclude these models from the product announcements expected in early March 2026.
