Apple is initiating an AI programming training camp for nearly 200 engineers to overhaul its Siri voice assistant. This initiative aims to bolster the platform's capabilities ahead of the upcoming iOS 27 release.

Mike Rockwell, the executive who previously led the Apple Vision Pro launch, is now reportedly heading the project. The revamped team structure focuses on enhancing Siri’s ability to handle multi-step instructions and deliver a conversational experience similar to ChatGPT.

Reports also note the potential involvement of Google’s Gemini AI model in the development process.
