Apple will begin manufacturing the Mac mini in the United States later this year. Chief Operating Officer Sabih Khan confirmed production will take place at a Foxconn facility in Houston, Texas. The initiative represents a broader effort to increase Apple's domestic manufacturing footprint.

The Mac mini is currently manufactured in China and Vietnam. Apple is focusing on simpler reshoring objectives and currently excludes the iPhone from U.S. assembly plans. The announcement coincided with Apple’s annual shareholder meeting.
