Apple iPhone exports from India surpassed the $50 billion mark by December 2025. This milestone was achieved under the country's Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, according to industry data released on January 5, 2026.

The company’s production capabilities are rapidly scaling. In the first nine months of the 2026 fiscal year, iPhone exports reached nearly $16 billion. This surge made smartphones India’s single largest export category in fiscal year 2025.

Apple now operates five iPhone assembly plants in India, supported by a local supply chain of around 45 companies. This expansion highlights the success of the company’s strategy to diversify production away from China and deepen its presence in the growing Indian market.
