Airbus SE and leading European defense firms will meet NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in Brussels next week.
The talks aim to rapidly increase investment and manufacturing capacity. This production push precedes the NATO Leaders' Summit scheduled for July in Ankara.
The agenda prioritizes critical capabilities including air defense, long-range missiles, and surveillance systems. Participants will also discuss reducing industrial reliance on components from China and Taiwan.
Airbus confirmed its attendance but declined to comment on the specifics of the private meeting.
