Airbus officially opened a new A320-family final assembly line at its Toulouse facility in France. The modernized line occupies the Jean-Luc Lagardère building, which previously housed A380 production. This facility specifically addresses high global demand for the A321neo.

The inauguration completes Airbus’s strategy to operate 10 A320-family assembly lines worldwide by 2026. Global production sites now span Hamburg, Mobile, Tianjin, and Toulouse.

CEO Guillaume Faury stated the line provides the capacity to reach a production target of 75 aircraft per month. The facility utilizes digital production controls and automated systems to increase operational resilience.
