AMD, in partnership with Eviden, announced it has been selected to build France's first and Europe's second exascale supercomputer, named 'Alice Recoque'. The project, valued at €544 million, is a significant step for Europe's goal of achieving sovereign AI and research capabilities. The system will be powered by AMD's next-generation technologies, including EPYC CPUs and Instinct MI430X AI accelerators.
