Amazon Leo ordered six additional Ariane 6 rocket launches from European operator Arianespace. This agreement increases Amazon’s total commitment to 24 launches through 2031.

The new missions will utilize the Ariane 64 heavy-lift variant starting in 2029. This expansion accelerates the build-out of Amazon's satellite constellation to compete with SpaceX’s Starlink.

The announcement occurred at the International Space Summit in Paris. Arianespace previously launched 100 Amazon Leo satellites into orbit in 2026.
