Effective October 7, Amazon Web Services (AWS) reportedly raised prices by 15% for most of its Nvidia-powered EC2 Capacity Blocks for ML offerings in the United States. The service lets customers reserve future access to processors used for machine-learning tasks. This is the third price increase for the service this year.

Prices for a block of high-end Nvidia chips have risen approximately 59% since the beginning of 2026. AWS is reportedly sold out of its 2027 AI capacity, giving it room to charge premium rates. The sustained demand and pricing power could support AWS’s margins.
