Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is expanding its manufacturing and supply chain operations in India. This initiative aims to establish India as a central hub within the global aerospace industry.
The expansion follows high-level discussions between Embraer executives and Indian government officials. The government expressed strong support for the company’s alignment with the Make in India program.
Embraer is currently evaluating Indian companies for partnerships in aerostructures, machining, and composites. These local firms will be integrated into Embraer’s global supply chain to enhance its international manufacturing network.
