Ford’s Oakville Assembly Complex will resume full operations by the end of 2026. The facility has remained idle for nearly two years.
Workers are returning to prepare the site for heavy-duty gas and diesel pickup truck production. The Canadian federal government is providing C$464 million to fund the plant's retooling.
The new production line will create approximately 1,800 jobs.
