Ford Motor Company will launch seven new models in the European market. The company revealed the plan, which concludes in 2029, at a dealer event in Austria. The strategy aims to generate 25% of EBIT from Ford Pro commercial vehicle software and services. The plan also includes refreshing the company's passenger vehicle lineup.

Ford Energy signed a five-year agreement with EDF power solutions for battery storage. The contract covers the supply of up to 20 GWh of storage systems. Deliveries for these systems will begin in 2028. The deal targets demand from data centers and utility-scale projects.

Ford shares jumped as much as 6% in pre-market trading following the announcements.
