GE Aerospace Lands 1,800 Engine Orders, Driven by Record IndiGo Deal

GE Aerospace secured commitments for approximately 1,800 engines at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow. These orders include units for both GE and its joint venture, CFM International. This volume signals robust demand across the commercial aviation sector.

IndiGo signed a memorandum of understanding for more than 1,000 LEAP-1A engines. This agreement will power 510 Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The deal represents the largest single order ever for LEAP engines and a record for CFM.

Philippine Airlines and AerCap also selected GEnx engines for their Boeing 787 fleets.
