KBR will provide its Purifier® ammonia technology to Pampa Energía for a new complex in Argentina. The agreement includes a technology license, basic engineering design, and proprietary equipment.
The facility will produce 3,430 tons of ammonia per day. Located in Bahía Blanca, it will be the largest single-train ammonia plant in Latin America.
Operations are scheduled to begin by the end of 2029. The project aims to enhance regional food security. KBR is working alongside Pampa Energía, SACDE, and Tecnimont to deliver the facility.
