Meta signed a voluntary agreement with the UK’s Prospect trade union to allow direct recruitment of its 5,000 local employees. This marks the first formal labor agreement between Meta and a UK union.
The deal permits Prospect to communicate with staff both in-person and digitally regarding union membership benefits. The partnership precedes the Trade Union Right of Access legislation taking effect in October.
