Wells Fargo raised its price target on Meta Platforms to $1,000 from $796 and maintained an Overweight rating. The bank cited strong early momentum for Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent, which launched in September 2026.

Analyst Ken Gawrelski said enthusiasm for the new AI-driven product cycle is warranted, comparing the current investment phase with the early rollout of Reels. Muse is designed to carry out complex tasks for users and has seen robust initial adoption. It became a top free app on Apple’s App Store.

Wells Fargo expects Meta’s AI investments to increase operating expenses and pressure near-term earnings. The bank sees 2027 as a potential trough year for earnings per share. It expects Muse monetization to become a significant driver of positive earnings revisions from 2028 onward.
