MTN Ghana is investing $1 billion in digital infrastructure to accelerate the country's digital transformation. Chief Home Officer Richard Acheampong announced the commitment during the company's Bright Conversations series.

The investment primarily funds the expansion of fiber broadband connectivity to residential homes. This initiative serves as a central pillar of the company's Mission 2030 Strategy.

MTN Ghana aims to meet the growing demand for reliable internet in education, remote work, and business. The company positions fiber as a more stable solution for supporting multiple devices than mobile technology.
