Sydney-based AI data center firm Firmus raised $2 billion in its latest funding round. The investment brings the company’s post-money valuation to over $10.5 billion. This figure nearly doubles the $5.5 billion valuation recorded in April 2026.
Nvidia and Coatue Management participated as prominent investors in the round. Firmus will use the capital to accelerate its Project Southgate initiative. The project aims to expand data center capacity across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region through the development of AI factories.
