Huawei Technologies will launch two new artificial intelligence chips in 2027 to challenge Nvidia’s market dominance. Rotating chairman David Wang announced the Ascend 960DT for release in the first quarter of 2027. The company plans to release the Ascend 960PR in the third quarter of that year.
Huawei’s proprietary UnifiedBus technology will power these next-generation large AI systems. This technology connects a vast number of processors to function as a single computing system.
Huawei has already shipped over 1,000 of its current-generation linked systems. These shipments reached more than 370 customers.
