UK-based AI cloud provider Nscale has agreed to acquire software startup Anyscale for approximately $1.65 billion.
The deal merges Nscale’s physical data centers and GPUs with Anyscale’s platform for managing complex AI workloads. This creates a vertically integrated platform capable of offering comprehensive solutions beyond raw computing power.
Anyscale was founded by the creators of the open-source Ray framework. Approximately 200 Anyscale employees will join Nscale, though the startup will continue to operate under its own brand.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026.
