Reflection AI is in discussions to raise $2.5 billion in a new funding round. The financing would give the startup a pre-money valuation of $25 billion.

JPMorgan Chase is reportedly considering participating in the financing. Nvidia previously invested approximately $800 million in the company. That prior funding round valued Reflection AI at $8 billion.

Former Google DeepMind researchers founded the startup in 2024. The company develops open-source AI models to serve as a U.S. alternative to international competitors.

Reflection AI will use the capital to build large-scale models. The company also plans to expand its presence among U.S. allies.
