Nvidia is increasing production of its Vera CPU family to compete with market leaders Intel and AMD. These processors will pair with next-generation Vera Rubin GPUs or function as standalone products.
The company's previous Grace CPU family generated $5 billion in sales over the last year. Nvidia projects its data center CPU revenue will more than double in the next fiscal year.
This expansion signals a strategic shift to diversify computing technology beyond artificial intelligence GPUs.
