Nvidia unveiled Cosmos 3 Edge, a new AI world model for robots and vision agents. The 4-billion-parameter model enables machines to perceive and navigate physical environments in real time. It is designed to run on edge computing devices like the Nvidia Jetson platform for on-device reasoning.
The launch signals a strategic expansion into the physical AI market with a primary focus on Japan. Nvidia expanded its Cosmos Coalition to include industrial leaders Fujitsu, FANUC, Sony, and SoftBank Corp. This initiative aims to accelerate intelligent machine development across Japan’s manufacturing, robotics, and mobility sectors.
